Mateo Jiménez — Full-Stack Software Engineer

Hi, I am Mateo Jiménez, also known online as SirRiuz — a full-stack software engineer based in Colombia. I build scalable, production-grade web products end to end: robust APIs, solid infrastructure and polished, animated user interfaces. My core stack is React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python and FastAPI, and I am currently open to new opportunities, including remote software engineer roles worldwide.

What I do

As a full-stack software engineer I care about the whole product: designing clean REST APIs, modeling data, shipping reliable backend services with Python and Node.js, and crafting fast, accessible frontends with React and TypeScript, with thoughtful motion design. I enjoy taking an idea from zero to production and keeping it healthy once real users depend on it. Most of my work is open source and available on my GitHub profile.

• Thiup — an anonymous, open-source social network focused on freedom of expression, live in production at thiup.com.
• Telephone API — an open-source API built on Twilio that returns detailed information about phone numbers, with interactive documentation.
• Vivaldi Math Solver — an open-source scientific calculator for Android that graphs functions in 2D and 3D and shows step-by-step solutions.
• Track — an open-source price tracker for online stores like MercadoLibre, Amazon and eBay (archived).
